We then drive to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, to explore key landmarks such as the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Oudaya Kasbah, and the ruins of Chellah. Continuing along the scenic Atlantic coast, we reach the charming coastal town of Asilah. Known for its vibrant murals and annual art festival, Asilah offers a peaceful atmosphere and stunning sea views from the Skalla fortress. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel, and the rest of the day is yours to relax and enjoy at your own pace.

After breakfast, your journey continues north toward Chefchaouen, with a scenic drive through Tangier. Along the way, visit two of Tangier’s most iconic landmarks: the dramatic Cape Spartel lighthouse, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea, and the legendary Caves of Hercules, steeped in history and myth. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Tangier before heading inland through the Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, also known as the “Blue Pearl of Morocco.” Upon arrival, check in to your charming accommodation. After enjoying a hearty breakfast, embark on a journey to the ancient Roman city of Volubilis, an archaeological treasure dating back to the 2nd and 3rd centuries. Known as the best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco, this site captivates visitors with its intricate mosaics and grand structures, offering a fascinating glimpse into history. From Volubilis, our journey continues to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, where highlights include the grand Bab Mansour gate and the the Medersa Bou Inania. After these enriching visits, you will continue to Fez, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual heart. Upon arrival, you’ll begin to feel the vibrant atmosphere of the city’s historic medina (old town) drawing you in. Narrow, winding streets lead you through a captivating labyrinth of history and tradition. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy free time for the rest of the day.

Another beautiful day starts, as this morning you will meet with an official city guide to start exploring Fez. Fez is the most ancient and holy of the Imperial cities. Your cultural and historic tour will take you through the 2000-year-old living medina. A labyrinth of narrow streets, alive with markets and souks, craftsmen, donkeys, and mules transporting their loads. Visit the Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas (Islamic universities), the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, the Karaouine Mosque, and take a beautiful view of Chouara tannery. Lastly, finish your tour with a visit to Fes Jdid, and the revered Merenid Tombs for a spectacular panoramic city view.

Today your Morocco journey takes you south toward the Sahara. Your first stop is Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” where you can stroll its clean streets and capture scenic photos. Continue to Azrou to meet the playful Barbary macaques in the cedar forest, and then stop in Midelt for lunch. After crossing the Tizi N’Talghemt Pass, enjoy stunning views of the Ziz Gorges before passing Aoufous and Erfoud, famous for fossil workshops. By evening, arrive in Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara.
