Dades Valley

Our Morocco Desert Adventure begins at 8 a.m. from Marrakech, heading towards the High Atlas Mountains via the winding Tizi N’Tichka pass. We’ll make stops along the way to take in panoramic views and capture photos of the picturesque Berber villages scattered across the landscape. Our first stop is at Telouet Kasbah, an important historical site once home to the powerful Glaoui family.
After exploring Telouet, we continue towards the ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its stunning architecture and as the backdrop for many famous films. You’ll have free time for lunch and to wander through the kasbah. Then, we drive through the Skoura palm grove, a lush oasis dotted with kasbahs, before passing through the Rose Valley, famous for its annual Rose Festival. Our journey ends in the Dades Valley, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a traditional hotel surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery.
Merzouga

After breakfast at the hotel, we head back through the Dades Valley, stopping to admire the striking “monkey toes” rock formations and the 19th-century Kasbah of Ait Yul, which still stands proudly. Continuing towards Tinghir, we make our way to the breathtaking Todra Gorge. The towering 300-meter red cliffs create a dramatic backdrop, and you’ll have the chance to take a stroll beneath these impressive walls, where rock climbers frequently test their skills. You’ll also catch glimpses of local life in the nearby adobe villages.
After exploring Todra Gorge, we continue to Erfoud where we will stop for lunch. Our journey then leads to the desert village of Merzouga, where you’ll spend the night in a charming hotel at the foot of the towering sand dunes. Dinner and overnight in a traditional desert hotel.
Sahara Desert

This morning, after enjoying breakfast at the hotel, your Morocco Desert Adventure continues with an exciting 4×4 tour of the dunes. During the journey, you will explore the fascinating black volcanic rock formations rich in fossils, visit a nomadic family living in a traditional tent, and stop at the village of Khamlia, where you will be immersed in the captivating spiritual music of the Gnawa people. Afterward, you’ll take a break for lunch in either Merzouga or Hassi Labied.
After lunch, you’ll visit the fascinating canal irrigation system and take a stroll through the lush oasis at the base of the dunes. In the afternoon, prepare for an unforgettable camel trek, led by an experienced camel guide. As you ride your dromedary, you’ll journey deep into the enchanting sand sea of Erg Chebbi, taking in the mesmerizing sunset along the way. Your trek will lead you to a traditional nomad camp, where you’ll spend the night in a cozy tent beneath the stars. A traditional breakfast will be served before we depart for Rissani, where you’ll have the chance to explore its attractions, including the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif and the vast palm groves. Following this, we’ll stop for lunch in Nkoub, and then continue our journey through the stunning Draa Valley towards Zagora. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be provided at a comfortable hotel in Zagora, where you can relax and unwind after a day of adventure.
Marrakech
Day 5: Zagora - Ouarzazate - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

After breakfast in Zagora, we will embark on our journey towards Marrakech, starting with a scenic drive through the enchanting landscapes of the Draa Valley. Our first stop will be Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert.” Here, you will have the opportunity to explore the impressive Taourirt Kasbah, a stunning fortress that reflects the region’s rich history. Next, we will visit the renowned Atlas Film Studios, where many iconic films have been shot. This fascinating site offers a behind-the-scenes look at the world of cinema, showcasing various film sets and backdrops.
Continuing our journey, we will traverse the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the rugged peaks. We continue to Marrakech and upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel, and this is the end of our services.
