2 nightsDay 1: Arrive in Marrakech
The driver will pick you up from the airport of Marrakech up to your arrival time and one of our best tours around Morocco will start. Transfer to your accommodation and you’ll have the rest of the day to relax while exploring the main square Jemaa el Fnaa and the souks.
Day 2: Marrakech sightseeing
This morning after breakfast, you will have a private guided tour of Marrakech Medina with an official guide. You will see the famous Mosque of Koutoubia, the Medina, and its souks, and explore some more of Marrakech’s secrets. Ali Ben Youssef Koranic School, Saadian tombs, Bahia Palace, and Majorelle Gardens are some of the places we visit. During the afternoon, the best option is to explore the medina on your own pace, approaching the square that in the evening is full of narrators, jugglers, diviners, snake charmers, and musicians.
Fez
2 nightsDay 3: Marrakech - Rabat - Fez
This morning, the driver will pick you up from your accommodation and we will start our trip to Fez. Our first stop will be in Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Here you will visit the impressive Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Oudaya Kasbah with fabulous views of the Atlantic Ocean. Continuing our trip via highway and in the afternoon we will reach Fez where the driver will drop you off at your accommodation. In the afternoon, the best option is to explore on your own the medina and the souks of Fez.
Day 4: Fez sightseeing
After breakfast, you will meet with a local tour guide to explore Fez, the most ancient and holy of the Imperial cities. Your cultural and historic tour will take you through the 2000-year-old living medina. A labyrinth of narrow streets, alive with markets and souks, craftsmen, donkeys, and mules transporting their loads. Visit the Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas, the Nejjarine Fountain, the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, and the Chouara Tannery. Finish your tour with a visit to Fez Jdid and the revered Merenid Tombs for a spectacular panoramic view of Fez.
Merzouga desert
1 nightsDay 5: Fez - Ifrane - Midelt - Merzouga (Sahara desert)
Pick up from your accommodation in Fez early in the morning and depart for the South of Morocco. You will have a stop in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco to enjoy its beauty and after that, we will head toward Azrou to see the monkeys in the cedar forest. Continuing to Midelt for a lunch meal and afterward, we will cross the pass of Tizi N Talghamt to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of Ziz Gorges.
The drive continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Aoufous and Erfoud (the last is famous for fossils and dates). On arrival, get ready for a camel trek for about an hour to enjoy the sunset. While on the back of your dromedary, you will continue to the camp for an overnight in a desert camp. Dinner will be served and before you get some rest at your bivouac, you will enjoy a spectacle with Saharan music. Dinner and overnight in a desert camp.
Dades Valley
1 nightsDay 6: Merzouga - Erfoud - Todra Gorge - Dades Valley
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dunes in the Sahara Desert and then have your breakfast. After these beautiful moments, we will depart towards Tineghir passing by Erfoud and Tinejdad. Have a break for lunch on the way and later, we will continue to Todra gorges via Tinghir, stopping along the way for photos and admiring the views. Arrive at Todra Gorges to enjoy its marvelous Canyons views while hiking on foot. Later on, we will drive to Boumalne du Dades and we will make a stop for a panoramic view of Dades Valley before the check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.
Marrakech
1 nightsDay 7: Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou - Atlas Mountains - Marrakech
This morning, we will head to Marrakech by passing through the big Skoura palm grove, a beautiful place to contemplate more than 700.000 palms and numerous kasbahs that are built in the surrounding area. Later, we visit the Rose Valley, where damascene roses are raised for cosmetic use such as the valued rosewater. The next stop is in Ouarzazate, also known as “The gate of the desert” which in the Berber language means “noiseless or without confusion”. Here we ́ll see the Taourirt Kasbah, one of the most spectacular ksars in Morocco.
After we stop for a panoramic view of the kasbah of Taourirt, we will continue for another stop at the Atlas studios. Then, we continue to the ksar (fortified village) of Aït Ben Haddou where we will visit the famous Kasbah (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). Famous films have been shot on this spectacular stage, including Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, and Sahara with Penélope Cruz…etc. After that, we will drive to Marrakech over the mountains of high Atlas passing through the Tizi N’Tichka pass (2260 m in altitude). Arrive in Marrakech and check into your accommodation.
Marrakech
Day 8: Marrakech departure
The driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech up to your departure flight time, and one of the best tours around Morocco ends with your transfer at the airport.
